You who are a distance learning student in Bø or Notodden, can rent a dormitory with us while you are at a gathering - so-called short-term rent.

There are some dorms with private kitchen and bathroom in Notodden, specifically at Sentrum Notodden Student Housing.
NB. This option does not appear in the application form, but you can choose short-term rental at Høgås in the application and write that you want Sentrum Notodden Student Housing under Additional information at the end of the application.

Important!
If you apply for short-term rent starting on a Sunday, your application must be registered no later than the Thursday before so that we have time to prepare the property for you.
If you are allocated a dorm for short-term rental three days or less before the contract starts, the application is considered binding and cannot be cancelled.
What is short-term rent?
Short-term rent means renting a housing unit with us for a very limited period of time, such as a week while you are at a gathering. If you want to rent student housing with us from, for example, January to June, this is not considered a short-term rental. We only offer short-term rentals for distance learning students at Notodden and Bø.
What is the room equipped with?
The units that are reserved for short-term rent are equipped with simple kitchen equipment, duvet and pillow.
You bring your own bedding and towels, or you can choose to buy a bedding package from SSN. See prices below.
(Does not apply to dorms with private kitchen and bathroom in Sentrum Notodden Student Housing - there are no kitchen utensils, duvet or pillow).
The bedding package for short-term rent contains:
1 duvet cover
1 pillow cover
1 sheet
2 towels, one small and one large
If you want a bedding package, you can either add it as additional information in the application (at the very end) or send us a message.

*If you are renting short-term at Sentrum Notodden Student Housing, there are no duvets and pillows in the dormitory (choose package 2 if you want a duvet and pillow).
