As we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, defense and peace processes are still highly present topics in 2025.
However, women's contributions to war and peace work are little known and often inadequately discussed. We at Bø Women's Forum want to do something about it, and has therefore invited historian Mari Jonassen to talk about the topic. Unfortunately, she had to cancel, but instead we were lucky enough to have Berit Hagen Agøy join us. Agøy is a historian and director of the Inter-Church Council, and has been a central voice on issues of peace, human rights and international solidarity for several decades.
We promise an interesting, inspiring and hopefully also uplifting lecture!
