Topics:•    Brief info about the USN Academic Writing Center•    IMRaD: Introduction, Method, Results, and Discussion•    Briefly on other structures: literature-based and compare and contrast papers•    How to find flow in your writing while using sources?•    Outline: how to take it a step further?

Who is the webinar for? This webinar is suitable for everyone, regardless of the type of academic text you are writing or how far along you are with your paper. Paper structure is what we get the most questions about at the Writing Center, and there are many different options you can chose. An outline is also a super useful tool for getting started with writing and improving the structure of your paper, whether you are writing a short academic text or a bachelor's or master's thesis.

After the lecture part, writing advisors will be available for 1 hour to answer questions and do shorter drop-in consultations. You can ask questions about the content of the webinar and get help with your own text.

The webinar will be taught in English by Hanna Kavli Lodberg-Holm who is the coordinator of the USN Academic Writing Center and is open for all USN students.

Duration: 1 hour lecture. Both lecturer and writing advisor will remain afterwards for questions, discussions and drop-in writing consultations.
