We have found routes for five different walks in Kongsberg, four of which are easily accessible and take about an hour to walk, while one is a little more demanding.
During April, joint tours or activities will be set up on most campuses. Filter your campus in the Sørøst-calendar and find walks where you are, or other things to join!
Hiking along Lågen. About 1 hour, 4 km.
Start at the exit on the second floor of Krona. Walk up towards and past the church, follow the walkway over the footbridge and past Vestsiden secondary school. At shell, you cross the pedestrian crossing and onto the nature trail along Lågen. Follow this all the way to Jernbanebrua and cross Lågen. Follow the footpath along Lågen in the direction of the centre. When you reach Nybrua, cross the road and follow Møllebakken down until you reach the footpath along Lågen again. Follow this until you reach Gamlebrua. Cross this and follow Hyttegata to Apotekergata and follow this back to Krona.

Great view of the city. About. 1.5 – 2 hours, 5.8 km.
Start at Krona, walk past the church and over Nybrua through the pedestrian street. Go down Bekkedokk, over the road and under the railway. Follow the footpath up to Eikerveien and follow this to Steens gate, Jørgen Moes gate and finally onto Daniel Barths road. From Daniel Barth's road, a footpath leads up to the "stanga".
From Krona to the hiking trail, it takes about 35 minutes, length 2.4 km. From Daniel Barth's road up to the "stanga" it is about 500m with an ascent of 146 metres.
Approx. 3 hours, moderately demanding hike of 6.6 km.

The hike passes many impressive memories of mining and crosses the cultural trail to Kongsberg in our hearts.

This is a great round trip in a historic and varied landscape. The area has swimming areas, benches, barbecue areas and accessible toilets.
