Welcome to the open sewing workshop with Fikseriet! 🧵
Every Tuesday until June 3rd at Drammensbiblioteket: Hollenderiet, 3rd floor.
Here, you can get a basic introduction to using a sewing machine, work on your own projects, repair old clothes, and find others to sew with. Fikseriet provides most of the necessary equipment, along with some fabrics and test swatches. We have four sewing machines: three regular ones and one overlock machine. You’re also welcome to bring your own sewing machine if you prefer.
The workshop is run by volunteers from Fikseriet, who help create a welcoming sewing evening and offer guidance as much as possible. No registration required.
It is also possible to borrow sewing machines and other equipment outside of workshop hours during the library’s staffed opening hours.
