On Thursday 3 October, the Kjetil Flatland Quartet will visit us! Kjetil Flatland is for many an undiscovered treasure. In addition to being an outstanding saxophonist and vocalist, he is a songwriter of rank. With a background in jazz, ballads and folk music, he writes rich songs – both musically and lyrically. He takes hold of small and large things in life and in the world, and puts them into homely and recognizable situations.
The music has got fantastic reviews, appeals to several generations – and his fellow musicians also testify to where the bar lies. The band offers driving interplay, evocative sounds - and it oozes joy of playing! 😊
