What started as a jam between friends has turned into one of the country's favorite jazz groups! Since the band's inception, Flukten has managed to play a number of concerts in and outside Norway. The debut album "Velkommen håb" in 2021, took the Spellemann Prize in the jazz category, and got Morgenbladet's reviewer to write "oozes boundary-breaking freedom seeking and adventurousness". The musicians in Flukten can also be heard in bands such as Gurls, Moskus, Hullyboo, Espen Berg Trio, Hanna Paulsberg Concept, Wako and many more. In 2024, they will release their highly anticipated second album "Flukten", and in September they will go on tour under the auspices of Sørnorsk jazzsenter and of course stop in Bø.
