The theme of the conference will be climate and the environment. It will be a description of the status here and now, with a positive angle on what can be done in the future. The aim is to bring together different perspectives on this topic; that the "ecologist" will meet the "economist" and that the interdisciplinary nature of the Bø campus will be a strength at the conference. You are welcome regardless of your course of study and you do not need any prior knowledge!

This interdisciplinary meeting will take place in the form of lectures, panel discussions and workshops. This day is for you as a student and we hope to give you professional refreshment, motivation and hope related to an ongoing issue!

Bærekraftskonferansen 2024 is a conference organized by Studentdemokratiet i Sørøst-Norge (SDSN), Studentsamskipnaden i Sørøst-Norge (SSN), Campusstyret i Bø & Spire Bø at the University of Southeastern Norway campus Bø (USN). This is an event for the students at the university where we want to focus on sustainability. We want to create an interactive event that will give students and participants hope, and highlight the opportunities that lie in thinking interdisciplinary about sustainability.
