Lyttelaug - a new concert series in Midt-Telemark for experimental and innovative musical expressions.
In this first edition of Lyttelaug we are presented with a brand new work by the local composer and instrument builder Jo David Meyer Lysne. The work is written for a pure grand piano activated by 25 electromagnets. The grand piano is retuned so that the overtone playing in the instrument works together, providing a self-reinforcing effect. Which adds up to a rich sonic work for solo piano.
