MY FAVOURITE CAKE is a heartwarming Iranian drama comedy with an aftertaste of regime criticism. The film shows that it's never too late to find love – and it's never too late to stand up to injustice!
Mahin is a widow in her 70s, live by herself and cares very little about what is expected of a woman of her age. She sleeps until twelve and starts the day with tea and cigarettes. One day, she decides to go out on her own in busy Tehran to find love again. A chance meeting becomes an unforgettable evening.
